Valdosta Mall retailers seek to fill over 250 seasonal positions this holiday season

VALDOSTA, GA — Valdosta Mall has announced its second annual Seasonal Hiring Event where mall retailers plan to hire over 250 seasonal workers for the upcoming 2019 holiday season. 

The mall will host a single day hiring event from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 19, 2019. Job candidates can find more information prior to the holiday hiring event by visiting www.shopvaldostamall.com and clicking on events “Seasonal Hiring Event” link.

“Chick-fil-A Valdosta Mall is seeking team members that intend to uplift others at their place of work. Building an environment of care is our priority,” said Chick-fil-A Owner/Operator Margo Braski.

“The Seasonal Hiring Event at Valdosta Mall helps us succeed throughout our peak season. Our goal is to serve our guests with care, and it takes stellar team members and leaders to make that happen,” added Braski.

Last year more than 35 retailers participated and met with hundreds of job candidates.

Seasonal positions vary from food service, retail sales associates, full time and part time positions. Many stores will offer seasonal associates the same merchandise discount as the company’s current associates, just in time for the holidays.

Job seekers are urged to bring multiple copies of their resumes and dress professionally.
